#1 Clean Up Australia Day & Recycling

My 'name' is Lucky Feather and welcome to my blog. (For those of you who know me in real life please try not to address me as my real name I would like to remain anonymous, thanks.) 

So this is my first time writing a blog and I'm only doing this as I thought it would be a fun and rewarding experience and for a PDHPE assessment we have to 'take a risk' and I thought that starting a blog would be a cool risk to take. So if there are any grammar or spelling mistakes, feel free to point them out! :)

This blog will be about the issues of the world (as the title suggests). Some of these issues include: needing more equality for all genders, especially for females (feminism), the war between Ukraine and Russia and what would happen if Russia successfully captured Ukraine and disposable masks and how horrible they are for the environment.

Anyways, today's topic is Clean Up Australia Day. This happened on the 6th of March. It's actually so important that we look after our environment and help clean up the mess that we made! If we don't clean it up then who will?

When throwing things away, please make sure that they go in the right bin! All schools should have a recycling bins. All scrape papers should go in the recycling (yellow or whichever bin that says paper recycling) bin. Some schools even have compost bins to put your food scrapes in them, so please use them! Most areas, such as parks or shopping malls, should and will have different bins for different types of rubbish so please take time to stop, think and recycle! Don't take the easy way, take the right way. I'll stop my rant now but you get the idea.

So back to Clean Up Australia Day: even if you don't live in Australia still take time to pick up some rubbish, knowing that you've helped the planet. If you see someone litter, politely ask them to pick it up. Do your part for the planet, even if it's as small as just putting a soft drink can in the right bin.
